What Is Plain Jane Interactive?

Plain Jane Interactive is the most immersive version of the OpenSpaces themes yet—built for brands that want to create clickable, touchable, explorable spaces.

It introduces a new section type called the Interactive Space, allowing you to turn images into full storefronts, showrooms, or shoppable experiences with product hotspots and custom navigation.

Use it to:

• Build a homepage that feels like a virtual store

• Add interactive hotspots to any page

• Create multi-room environments linked by clickable arrows

3 Ways to Use the Interactive Space

You can use the Interactive Space section in three main ways, depending on your layout goals:

🖥️ 1. As a Full Immersive Homepage

Create a cinematic experience with no scroll or distractions. Use only:

• Compact Menu

• Interactive Space

This setup feels like an entry to a world, perfect for high-impact drops or storytelling.

💡 Recommended: Pair with a minimal menu and full-bleed image background.

🧩 2. As a Section on Any Page

You can now place Interactive Space inside any page layout—home, product, collection, etc.

Use it to break up standard layouts with interactive content:

• Below a banner

• Between featured products

• At the bottom of your homepage

To add:

• Go to Online Store > Customize

• Click Add section > Interactive Space

🔗 3. As a Dedicated Interactive Page

Build fully separate “rooms” using the provided templates:

• space-1 (default homepage)

• space-2 to space-7

Each can become a standalone page with its own background, points, and transitions.

Example use cases:

• Women’s Room and Men’s Room

• Archive drop galleries

• Lookbook-to-shop crossover pages
