Main Theme Color

For Plain Jane, and Plain Jane Interactive

What You’ll Learn

  • How to change the global background color for your store

🎛 Access the Setting

  1. From your Shopify Admin, go to Online Store > Themes

  2. Click Customize next to your active Plain Jane theme

  3. In the Theme Editor, click the Theme Settings icon (paintbrush)

  4. Scroll to Main Theme Color

🖼 Set Your Background Color

  • Click the Background Color swatch to open the color picker

  • Select any color or input a hex value manually (e.g. #FFFFFF for white)

  • This background color is applied globally to your store, unless overridden by specific section or page settings

💡 Tip: Choose a background that complements your brand and offers good contrast with text for readability
