These are global settings that affect the overall design, behavior, and structure of your Shopify store using the Plain Jane theme.
What Are Theme Settings?
Theme Settings control the site-wide appearance and functionality of your store. Unlike individual “Sections” that apply to specific pages (like your homepage or product template), Theme Settings apply across the entire storefront — from fonts and logos to animations and SEO.
Use this section to fine-tune your store’s:
Branding and identity (logos, fonts, colors)
Interactive elements (custom cursors, music, animations)
Conversion tools (announcement bar, cart drawer)
Page structure (skip homepage, global navigation)
Technical details (SEO, Cart)
Available Settings
Here’s what each Theme Setting does (click to dive into individual pages):
Announcement Bar – Display store-wide promos or messages
Animations – Control entrance and hover animations
Cart Drawer – Customize your cart’s behavior and design
Collection Layout – Set the default grid and style for product collections
Cursor Settings – Upload a custom cursor image
Footer Settings – Manage your footer layout and links
Global Menu Settings – Configure site-wide navigation
Music Player – Add background music to your store
Store Logos – Upload and manage your logo(s)
Store Clock – Display the current store time
Skip Homepage – Optionally redirect users past the intro page
SEO Settings – Control key meta and index settings for discoverability
Typography – Select fonts and type styles

These settings apply site-wide unless otherwise noted.
Most updates will reflect instantly in your live preview.
Always click Save after making changes in the theme editor.
